Chahrazad Zahi (b. 1993) is a Rabat-based independent art curator and researcher. She worked as a financial analyst in the trading floor of an investment bank and transitioned into the arts with an MA in Management of Cultural Institutions (2016) and an art history training at L’Ecole du Louvre in Paris. Thereafter, she worked as a strategy consultant and an art advisor to private and public collections in France and Morocco where she organized a number of solo and collective exhibitions. Since 2012, she has been concerned with stimulating the publishing of art histories of the MENA region, beyond the western canon. In 2016, with graphic designer Chourouk Zarkaoui, she co-founded CZxCZ, a duo of art curation and art direction. She was published in a variety of publications including Art Africa, Artsper, ONORIENT and Something We Africans Got. She is currently a PhD candidate in History of Art and Architecture at Boston University.
